Which Brawl Stars Modes Are Played Most in Ranked
Ranked rotates through six 3v3 modes and picks one for you every match. This is how often each mode actually came up, measured on real Ranked battles from the last 7 days.
Share of Ranked battles per mode this week
This week Brawl Ball comes up most at 21.2% of Ranked battles, Heist least at 13.9%; an even split would be 16.7% each.
Even per mode, or even per map?
There are two ways Ranked could be βrandomβ. If every map in the pool came up equally often, a mode with more maps would get more battles. If every mode came up equally often, each mode would sit near 16.7% regardless of its map count. The table shows the measured share next to what an even per-map split would give.
| Mode | Measured | If every map equal | Maps | Battles |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brawl Ball | 21.2% | 23.1% | 6 | 444 |
| Knockout | 18.6% | 15.4% | 4 | 389 |
| Gem Grab | 15.9% | 15.4% | 4 | 332 |
| Bounty | 15.3% | 15.4% | 4 | 320 |
| Hot Zone | 15.2% | 15.4% | 4 | 318 |
| Heist | 13.9% | 15.4% | 4 | 290 |
What to do with it
Cover every mode with at least two Brawlers you trust, because the mode you get is not your choice. This week Brawl Ball gives you the most games and Heist the fewest, so if practice time is short, start with Brawl Ball. Then narrow it down per map with which maps are played most and the tier list.
How this is measured
- Source: battle logs from the official Brawl Stars API for the global Top 200 players, collected every three hours, plus the battles of BrawlBetter players who linked their tag.
- Ranked only: matches the API labels as Ranked (the mode with a draft and bans). Trophy (ladder), friendly and event matches are not counted. 3v3 modes only.
- Window: the last 7 days, so the numbers follow the current rotation. A battle seen from both sides counts once.
- The Top 200 play at Masters and Pro rank. The server picks the mode, not the player, so the shares should hold at every rank, but that is an assumption we state rather than a fact we measured.
