Gadget: The gadget that gives you burst or mobility — Fighters win mid-range trades; the timing of your gadget decides those.
Star Power: The star power that increases your damage or sustain — You spend the whole fight in range, so sustained value outweighs burst.
Gears: Damage + Health — You stay in the fight for a long time: both more damage and more HP scale well.
Play the mid-range, punish every overcommit from the opponent.
